Session: Emerging Antimicrobial Methods

This session will highlight technological advances to control microbes using alternative methods including electroactive techniques for cell detection or sterilization or active-coating technologies for preventing microbial adhesion. The symposium will also discuss innovative nano/biomaterials designed to alleviate the harmful effects of pathogens.
