Session: CACHE 50th Anniversary: The Future of Cyber-Assisted Chemical Engineering Education

A session to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the founding of the Computer Aids for Chemical Engineering (CACHE) Corporation was held in July 2019, with the theme “The Future of Cyber-Assisted Chemical Engineering Education.” Several plenary speakers offered their views of important directions in cyber-assisted education. There were also presentations by outstanding young faculty who are innovating in the development of educational media, exploring novel ways of organizing student-instructor interactions to enhance learning and experimenting with alternative knowledge delivery modes. This session will provide an overview of the conference and feature invited talks from a number of speakers.
