The growth of nanophotonics requires development and integration of efficient optical nano sources to activate specific parts of the photonic circuit. To address this issue, hybrid plasmonic nanosources turn out to constitute a recent promising solution.

This work aims at synthesizing a wide range of core/shell quantum dots (QDs) with various colors and efficient luminescence. QDs are then introduced in an QD-based HYbrid Plasmonic nano Structure (QD-HYPS) with controllable emission (intensity, wavelength, emission diagram, color...) by incorporating QDs into the photopolymer through a grafting method. The QD-HYPS is integrated as a new hybrid light emitting diode where an electrical command permits the activation of nanosources. Finally, QD-HYPS is coupled to integrated waveguides as a hybrid component for nanophotonics.
