(145b) Going Digital in Downstream; Refinery of the Future (Keynote Talk)

The last US refinery was built in 1977, to bring these refineries into digital capability is a significant effort and we will explore actual examples and the value that refiners have received. OSIsoft participates in a project to help define the Refinery of the Future. Several examples, like a sensored pump, best uses of IIOT, 3D visualization of the plant and integrity of the asset will be shared to highlight how the downstream business is addressing these technological opportunities. We will share best practices and the progress of recognized leaders in the downstream digital transformation.
