Session: Novel and Unconventional Mixers

Research and design of mixed reactors. In this session special emphasis is given on mixers other than the traditional stirred tank. For example unconventional mixers such as Oscillatory Flow Baffled Reactors, Pulsed Discs, Doughnut columns, and micro-devices are considered. Also in this session are more traditional devices such as the Rotor Stator and gas induction impellers. Flow dynamics, mass transfer, reactions, scale-up, performance and performance characteristics are discussed.
