Session: Integrated Product and Process Design

This session covers all aspects related to the integration of product and chemical process design. For example, submissions are invited that explore issues related to how chemical processes are designed considering the end consumer products, and similarly, how the end products may be designed based on influences from the upstream processing. Research and advancements in methodologies, approaches, models, simulations, tools, and other topics related to the integration of product and process design are welcome. Papers that address specific aspects of bringing to market new chemical products – where “new product” can cover a wide variety from new specialty chemicals, novel catalysts, integration of fuel cells or new devices, among many others are encouraged.
