Session: Fundamentals of Catalysis III: Oxidation in Supported Catalysis

In this session, the mechanistic details of of oxidation reactions over supported metal and oxide catalysts are discussed. The session is divided into three parts. In the first, factors affecting the oxidation reactions of alkenes to chemicals are covered. The second part of the session investigates the oxidation of diverse oxygenates, while the last part covers oxidation of carbon monoxide and methane.
