Session: Functional Interfaces to Control Pathogenic or Beneficial Microbes

The session revolves around the advances in the design of antimicrobial and antifouling materials used in reconstructive medicine or implantable devices. It will also highlight techniques including drug delivery, super-hydrophobicity, topographic and chemical modification used to develop medical interfaces that promote healing and prevent or reduce microbial infections.
