Session: Developments in Biorefineries

This session will discuss research efforts that enhance the potential commercialization of various conversion processes to produce fuels and chemicals from biomass or any renewable feedstock. Examples include catalyst development that leads to higher yield and selectivity, novel processes to make chemicals, process development, economic feasibility, success stories, scaled production, and biorefinery sizing.
