Session: Advancements in Materials Science for Powder Handling in Pharmaceutical Process Development

This session includes papers within the scope of particle engineering and material sciences of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients to enable pharmaceutical formulation design and development, specifically centered on powder handling processes. Abstracts related to novel process designs to achieve product specifications, methods to understand and manipulate particle attributes and scale up of particle engineering are of interest. Advancements in experimental, theoretical, and computational tools to characterize and predict solid properties are considered, as are particle engineering approaches for powder processing improvements.
