(544m) Modeling Solvation Effects for Deoxygenation Reactions

As most biomass conversion schemes envision deconstruction to occur in the liquid phase medium, it is necessary to understand the effect of solvents on key depolymerization and deoxygenation reactions. In this poster, we will share our work on elucidating mechanistic pathways for beta-O-4 cleavage and deoxygenation of model compounds.
