Session: Structure in the Design of Sustainable Processes and Supply Chains
A critical and often underappreciated factor in the design of processes and supply chains is the structure. The reason is that choosing a particular structure for a process or supply chain determines much of its behavior and limits further flexibility in the design. This is session is, therefore, focused on exploring the importance of structure, and the methods that can be used to design structures for processes and supply chains.
