Dr. Lisa G. Bullard (NCSU) and Dr. Taryn Melkus Bayles (University of Pittsburgh) detail their personal experiences in successfully pursuing a non-traditional professorial career path in chemical engineering education off the tenure track, and present data on national trends in teaching-focused positions.
