2017 Annual Meeting

Session: Rapid Development and Implementation of Bioseparations

Innovation in upstream and downstream bioprocessing has been evolving over the years. However, pressure to increase productivity and reduce time to market for biotherapeutics, has motivated both the suppliers and industry process development engineers/scientists to find new, disruptive materials or ways to produce consistent, high-quality products for biomanufacturing processes. In this session, presentations will focus on new materials and emerging upstream and downstream technologies for bioprocessing. We solicit abstracts that cover the development, scale-up, or/and successful implementation of emerging or disruptive technologies in upstream and downstream processes for biomolecules.
