2017 Annual Meeting

Session: Modeling and Engineering Cellular Communities

This session will focus on engineering cellular communities ranging from genetic manipulation of multi-organism interaction, to process manipulation to integrate division of labor of organisms for the useful application including health, food safety and production of biochemicals. The methods for these efforts include metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, computational modeling and process engineering approaches.
