2017 Annual Meeting
Session: Microbial Communities and Microbiomes for Agriculture and Bioenergy (Invited Talks)
Microbiomes and microbial communities have been implicated in the growth and health of plants and animals and can be perform complex bioconversions to generate fuels and chemicals from renewable feedstocks. However, the underlying mechanisms remain to be well understood, and applications are still emerging. This session will focus on efforts to understand and engineer individual microbes and microbial communities in agriculture and bioenergy production and their potential to drive either broad area. Supported by the AIChE Foundation.
