2017 Annual Meeting

Session: Chemical Engineering Principles Advancing Medicine I

Chemical engineers are at the forefront of applying fundamental techniques to intricate medicinal problems. This session celebrates the diversity of reactions, transport phenomena, and/or thermodynamics as applied to a broad array of medically relevant systems on several length and time scales. New approaches, paradigms, and mathematical modeling for both fundamental advancement and biotechnological or medical applications are welcome. Theoretical and computational studies with an experimental component are encouraged.
