Session: Cell Culture Engineering & Process Design II: Reactor Engineering

This session intends to cover the state-of-the-art in mammalian, plant, algal, insect and bacterial cell culture toward the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, vaccines and high-value secondary metabolites. Topics for this session focus include, but are not limited to, development of novel bioreactors, scale-down bioprocess models, and the development of mathematical models towards prediction and control of cell culture behavior on small and large scales.
