(8c) Advanced Manufacturing

New “Advanced Manufacturing” approaches are expected to impact the production of chemical products significantly. Recent advances include process intensification, manufacturing for sustainability, new sensors and actuators, data science, and high-level simulations. We will discuss what advances and further developments need to be communicated, why they should be adopted, and how they can be communicated effectively.
