This talk will discuss the scale-up of a trickle bed reactor for selective liquid phase hydrogenation. Insights from bench scale experiments, cold flow studies, pilot plant testing, and fundamentals based kinetics and reactor modeling are combined to increase the robustness and confidence in commercial reactor design.
