(191bo) Development of a Pegylated Protein for Large Scale Manufacturing
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) has been shown to have several applications in biotechnology, including the ability to improve molecule stability, solubility and extension of half-life through pegylation. By-product formation during the PEGylation process can be challenging for downstream purification to ensure product purity. This presentation will discuss the variables and optimization, for a protein that is PEGylated, in order to reduce the level of impurities and increase pegylation efficiency.
