Session: Unconventionals: Shale Oil, Oil Sands and Other Heavy Fuels II

For this session, we are looking for abstracts related to both upstream production and downstream processing related to tight oils. For upstream, abstracts of interest would be related to sustaining production without a rapid drop-off the first year and anything related to cleaning up the tight oil prior to transporting (removing paraffin waxes, H2S, filterable solids, light ends to reduce RVP, etc.). For downstream, abstracts of interest are related to crude oil blending best practices, mitigating fouling, improved desalter operation, and advances in catalysis to handle different properties of tight oil. Please consider submitting an abstract specific to tight oil.
