Session: Scientific Papers - Are Retractions Becoming More Common?

The co-founder of Retraction Watch, which monitors scientific journal retractions, will be the keynote speaker, followed by an in-depth, panel discussion that will examine current ethical and quality challenges in scientific publishing. The discussion panel members will be the representative from Retraction Watch, the editor of a research journal, a full professor at a leading research university in the USA, a graduate student from a US university, and a professor from a university outside of the USA.
