2016 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Processing and Technology of Composites

This session invites papers on various aspects of the continuously evolving technology in composites engineering and manufacturing. Processing parameters influence the morphology and resulting properties of useful materials. A topical example of this is in the field of additive manufacturing or 3-D printing of polymer composites. Studies involving melt or solution processing, supercritical fluid or plasma treatment, for example, are all welcome. Young faculty or early career industry researchers are especially encouraged to submit to feature brash new concepts in processing developments.
