2016 AIChE Annual Meeting
Session: Plenary Session: Emerging Energy Applications of Nanoscale Science and Engineering
Nanoscale science and engineering has led to significant advances in the energy field that span energy capture, generation, storage, and use. This session will include invited presentations by prominent researchers representing a diverse range of energy-related fields. Invited presentations will also be selected from submitted abstracts. We invite submissions in any area where nanoscale science and engineering is being used to advance energy-related technologies and processes. Specific areas of interest include new materials for solar cells, batteries, and catalytic processes; new approaches to nanomanufacturing and energy generation and storage; and new bioengineered or hybrid bio/nano systems.
