2016 AIChE Annual Meeting
Session: Novel Nanoparticles and Nanostructured Materials for Energy and Environmental Applications I
Contributions focusing on nanoparticles or nanostructured particles for energy and environmental applications such as fuel cells, solar cells, batteries, supercapacitors, water or air purification, etc. are sought. Topics covered in this session include the development of novel nanoparticulate materials for energy and environmental applications, synthesis routes, material characterization, the processing of nanoparticles/nanostructured particles for integration into devices (e.g. formation of films, agglomerates, pastes or slurries) as well as the performance in the targeted energy conversion or storage application. Applications using nano-coatings to improve performance are particularly encouraged.
