2016 AIChE Annual Meeting
Session: Nanoreaction Engineering
Catalysis at the nanoscale is not new, but it has received much attention targeting at more precise control of structures utilizing the significantly different fundamental properties of material at the nanoscale. Works that emphasize individual catalytic sites as reactors are of interest. Papers in this session address the engineering aspects of catalyst (for e.g., zeolite crystal morphology engineering) and catalytic supports (e.g., carbon nanotubes) at the nanoscale. Papers addressing transport (e.g. diffusion) and reaction at the nanoscale are of particular interest. Both theoretical and experimental studies are solicited.
