2014 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Multifunctional Composites

The next generation of composite structures possess smart multifunctional properties. The aim is to simultaneously improve mechanical, electrical, thermal, barrier, flammability, and impact behavior of the composite structures using an array of micro- and nano-inclusions. This session invites all papers related to various aspects of design, fabrication, testing, and characterization of multifunctional composites for different applications.
