Session: Modeling Approaches in the Life Sciences

We aim for a diverse session that demonstrates the utility of mathematical modeling of reaction, transport phenomena, and/or thermodynamics as applied to a broad array of biological systems on several length and time scales. We welcome presentations of new approaches, paradigms and/or systems for both fundamental advancement and biotechnological or medical applications. Theoretical and computational studies with an experimental component are encouraged.
