Session: Life Cycle Assessment of Advanced Biofuels

This session invites abstracts dealing with "cradle-to-grave" environmental life cycle assessments of advanced biofuels derived from cellulosic feedstocks through thermochemical and biochemical conversion platforms. Greenhouse gas emissions are of particular interest but other impacts such as water use / quality, biodiversity, ecosystem and soil health are relevant. Effects on LCA results of study assumptions and methods such as system boundary, data source, and allocation are welcomed.
