Session: Biomaterials: Graduate Student Award Session

This session will honor graduate students whose research achievements, in the broad area of biomaterials, demonstrate a high level of excellence. Finalists will be selected from the area 8b abstract submissions to present their work in this award session. At the end of the session, a panel of judges will determine 1st-3rd place. To be considered for this award session, an application packet must be submitted via e-mail to Profs. Elizabeth Lipke and Adam Ekenseair (aiche8bgradaward@gmail.com) by Monday, May 21st, and include the following information: 1) Curriculum Vitae 2) A copy of the abstract already submitted to any Biomaterials session (pdf). 3) 1 refereed research publication (published or in press) where the presenter is the 1st author (pdf). Do not submit Reviews, or research manuscripts that have been submitted or are in preparation. 4) 1 letter of recommendation/nomination e-mailed directly the applicant's PhD advisor.
