(81b) Grand Challenges for the Nsdc

The "grand challenges" of AIChE are topics selected on behalf of AIChE by the Strategic Planning Team of the AIChE. The selections on behalf of the

AIChE National Student Design Competition are the responsiblity of the Design Subcommittee of the SCC of AIChE. In recent years the topics of the

grand challenges of the AIChE has been partially overlapped by the selections of the NSDC. The strategies and choices of the NSDC are discussed and

the purpose of the selections is commented on.
