(143i) Gas-Liquid Interfacial Area Production in a Vertical Column

The interfacial area production in a vertical bubble column has been calculated. The combination of the mass balnace and the momentum balance has been used to compute the interfacial area distribution with the appropriate drag force,and othe constitutive models , taking into account the wall effect. A comparison with experimental results has been made with  published data.
