Session: Special Session: to Celebrate Prof. Howard Littman's Career Long Accomplishments (Invited Talks)

Professor Littman has been on the faculty since 1965 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a key figure in the field of spouted beds. He has extensively worked on the movement of powders in a transport line fed from a spouted bed, the spouted-bed coating of fine particles, and the effects of turbulence on the drag coefficient of particles in pneumatic transport. He holds several patents. This session will be accepting papers honoring Howard's contributions to the spouted beds
