Session: Multi-Scale Approaches in Mixing

Mixing processes involve multiple, interacting scales (from molecule to process vessel). For progress in process design it is required to capture the essential physics at the various scales, and to understand the interaction between scales. This session is devoted to multi-scale experiments and simulations in mixing.
