Session: Materials for Energy Storage

The intermittent generation of electrical energy by renewable sources such as wind, solar, and wave power, as well as high performance consumer electronics, demand novel materials and mechanisms for energy storage. This session will cover the latest research in the areas of thermal and chemical energy storage, including batteries, flow cells, supercapacitors, and other innovative storage technologies.
