Session: Advances in Metabolic Engineering and Bioinformatics for Biofuels I: Strain Optimization

This session will cover the application of metabolic engineering to improve strain performance, particularly for the production of next-generation biofuel targets or improving the titers and yields of these targets. The approaches presented could include pathway engineering, global cellular engineering, synthetic biology and model-based approaches.
