- (240f) Optimal Control of Hydrogen Fueling Stations
One key challenge faced today by hydrogen fueling stations is to provide safe and efficient fill-ups for hydrogen fuel cell cars. Based on a self-consistent thermodynamic model of hydrogen, a dynamic model of the fill-up process, and a process simulator, strategies for the optimal control of this process can be devised. The simulator of the fill-up process is subject to optimization and control studies were global optimality is sought in order to identify the optimal fill-up strategy.
