The gas hydrate research has particular relevance in the petroleum industry: however, it has evolved into investigations on the promotion of hydrate formation as a potential novel separation technology. Inthisworkwedescribethedetailsofanewexperimentalequipmentformeasuringtheconditionsofdissociationofhydrates.Theequipmentissuitableformeasurementsattemperaturesrangingfrom243to423Kandpressuresupto40MPa. Experimental dissociation conditions are reported for region clathrate hydrates of carbon dioxide + propane in gas–liquid water–hydrate (G–Lw–H) equilibrium. Experimental data were measured at temperatures between (272 and 282) K, pressures up to 5 MPa. The mixture was prepared according to the synthetic method. Composition of carbon dioxide in the feed are also varied. The experimental results are obtained using the isochoric method (search for equilibrium pressure).
