- (3bq) Nanoengineered Materials for Energy and Electronic Applications
My research interests include advanced materials and processing technology to synthesize nanostructures with an embedded design and intrinsic functionality. In my poster I will report results from my graduate work; conducting polymers nanowire sensors with tunable selectivity and electronic behavior; magneto-transport properties of multilayed and core-shell ferromagnetic nanowire devices. Additionally, I will present recent progress on both dealloyed PtNi thin films for oxygen reduction reaction and photovoltaic properties of three dimensionally structured chalcogenides. Finally, I will describe future directions and my approach to cultivating an independent research group with a unique perspective in nanoengineered materials.
