Brush polymers have emerged as a class of nanostructured polymers. Representing a novel type of brush polymers, double brush copolymers (DBCs) have well-defined architectures with every grafting site carrying two different grafts. DBCs have been synthesized by tandem living polymerizations. With a variety of interesting nanostructures, DBCs have promising application potentials. For instance, they can serve as nano-surfactant for miniemulsions with remarkable stability.
