2010 Annual Meeting

Session: Fundamentals of Hydrogen Production: Reactions, Separations and Reactive Separations

This session seeks advances in hydrogen production by novel water splitting processes that reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The topic includes thermochemical cycles and other methods of hydrogen production with emphasis on reaction, separation nad reactive separation processes, including reactive distillation, that are either necessary for reactions within the cycles or that improve efficiency or operability of the cycles. Contributions related to all thermochemical cycles as well as other water-splitting methods, including photoelectrochemical, and photobiological are encouraged.
