2010 Annual Meeting
Session: Composites III: Modeling of Composites
This session invites contributions dealing with the simulation and theory of composites, including stimuli responses to electric and magnetic fields, light, interfacial properties of filler materials, biological recognition, and self-healing properties. Joint computational-experimental efforts are highly welcome. Special emphasis is also anticipated for studies of roles of cure and degradation played in nanocomposites, and the analysis of nano-mechanical or bio-mechanical properties, charge transport properties, and advances in modeling and simulation tools, such as Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamics, and Finite Element Methods.
