Session: Biorefinery - Biochemical Conversion and Biomass Recalcitrance
This session will focus on technology and processes to reduce the recalcitrance of cellulose in forest based biomass. Novel technologies involve the application of electron beams, other high energy ionizing radiation, ionic liquid solvents and biochemical catalysts.
