As part of NSF funded ?Creating Industry-Ready PhD Graduates? a course was developed to enhance various skills not typically explicitly covered in a traditional graduate curriculum. The course, ?Professional Development and Ethics in Engineering and Computing,? included a variety of topics, including: mentoring, teamwork skills, organizational skills, managerial skills, conflict resolution, intellectual property, and research ethics.
