A highly branched start-like dendrimer with thermo-responsive and biodegradable properties is designed and synthesized by novel systhesis methods. The chemical, physical and biological properties of the dendrimer is characterized for its application to enhance drug permeability and therapeutic effects across ocular barriers and the blood brain barrier.
