Water is a vital resource for human survival, so it is the duty of ensuring security of supplies in any situation. There have been several studies and found that the savannah of Bogotá has a functional and seismic vulnerability in the event of a natural disaster, in which their systems of water supply fail, leaving a large percentage of affected population. Given the magnitude of the problem, there is an alternative, portable treatment plants that provide the necessary water satisfactorily during the scope of the emergency. For this purpose, we identified the technologies available for water treatment, in order to achieve assess the best con-figuration of such plants to ensure water quality within a limited time.
