(506a) Hybrid Sulfur Cycle Options for the Next Generation Nuclear Plant
Authors
Maximilian Gorensek - Presenter, Savannah River National Laboratory
William A. Summers - Presenter, Savannah River National Laboratory
The hybrid sulfur (HyS) cycle is one of the two high-temperature water-splitting processes under consideration for use with the Next Generation Nuclear Plant (NGNP) demonstration at Idaho National Laboratory. This presentation will describe the reference case HyS flowsheet developed for NGNP and discuss the synergies and challenges of integrating HyS with other potential NGNP applications.
