(388e) Modules for High School Engineering Courses

Tens of thousands of students in the United States are now first experiencing engineering through year-long or multi-year high school engineering programs. CACHE is developing programs to allow broad access to high school engineering materials, relevant to chemical engineering, that are in the public domain. This presentation will describe the current landscape of high school engineering programs, typical curricula, and emerging CACHE programs in this area.
