(26d) Development of Hydrogen Storage Technique for Fuel Cell Vehicle
Author
Kenji Komiya - Presenter, Higashifuji Technical Center
Hydrogen is drawing attention as a clean and sustainable source of energy, and fuel cell vehicles that use hydrogen as fuel have the potential to become the ultimate automobiles of the future. However, since the energy density per volume of hydrogen fuel is extremely small (1/3000 of gasoline), it is important to develop technology to enable the storage of hydrogen in a more compact form. We will report development of hydrogen storage techniques for fuel cell vehicle including 70MPa CFRP high-pressure tank system and Multi-cylinder tank system.
